The Lamp Recycling
Company Limited was born in September 2000. Prior to this our
sister company,
Hazchem Waste used to crush the lamps and pay to have the bulk land-filled.
Our thoughts turned to finding an alternative to this…recycling.
Regulations that we
have to comply with
Statutes and Regulations applicable to the removal of Hazardous
Wastes:
1. The Environmental Protection Act (Duty of Care) Regulations 1991.
2. The Hazardous Waste Regulations (England & Wales) 2005.
3. The Controlled Waste (Registration of Carriers and Seizure of
Vehicles) regulations 1991.
4. The Health & Safety at Work Act.
